TIM HUSSEY

Tim Hussey is a Charleston-based painter whose work explores the tension between abstraction and figuration, memory and immediacy. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, Hussey began his career in illustration before shifting fully into fine art—developing a visual language marked by layered color fields, intuitive mark-making, and a rhythm that feels both psychological and musical. His paintings read like fragments of thought, inviting viewers into a space where gesture and emotion intersect.
