Brandon Owen

Brandon Owen and Patrick Stevenson aligned in May 2024, marking the beginning of a year-long collaboration between the artist and Stevenson & Co. Based in Kentucky, Brandon brings a contemporary perspective to Western art, blending traditional subjects with a distinct and expressive visual language. His work—often focused on the figure, the horse, and the terrain between myth and memory—has added a strong narrative component to the gallery’s program.

Stevenson & Co. has mounted two solo exhibitions of Brandon’s work, and one small series exhibition, all met with strong interest from collectors and art audiences. His paintings explore themes of vulnerability, strength, and place, rendered in a palette and style that are unmistakably his own. The exhibitions have introduced a new voice to the gallery’s roster and helped broaden its reach across regional and national audiences.

Over the past year, the relationship between artist and gallery has been defined by shared goals and creative independence. Brandon’s work continues to evolve, and Stevenson & Co. is pleased to have played a role in presenting it to a wider audience. As the gallery looks ahead, it remains committed to supporting Brandon’s vision and growth.
