MARK WAYNE BURLESON

Mark Wayne Burleson, is originally from Clarksdale, Mississippi, which is home of the blues.

"My Mississippi roots and country music play a big part in my abstract paintings."

Burleson currently resides in the windy city of Chicago, IL with his husband, Pedro, and their dog, Jack. Two of Mark's passions include interior design and cooking for his family..

During their free time,  Mark and Pedro seek inspiration through travel and try to make it to New York City as many times a year as possible. 

"My abstract paintings vary in color and composition. I'm in love with nature and when  I start a painting, I always see nature in it. Because of my passion for interior design my color combinations are always cohesive and complement each other.
